About Me

I started this blog to showcase some of my favorite recipes. I am not a professional chef nor in any way associated with the hospitality industry. I am simply a guy with a passion for great food, a willingness to experiment & a restless spirit.

It all started when I joined a local Facebook foodie group page & I added a picture of  a meal I had just prepared, then I added another meal, then another. People seemed to like what I was cooking & started asking for recipes, Lemon and Limey was born.

I'm a Limey from Oxford, England, & have lived in America for almost 30 years.

I spent over 12 years working in a gourmet kitchen store & have amassed a huge selection of cookware, knives, bakeware & gadgets. Despite having enough cooking equipment to open my own restaurant, I most like to cook at home. I have an ever expanding selection of cookbooks & also spend a lot of time researching online how to make anything & everything.

Pre-Covid, I loved to travel all over the world & was always trying to search out new, great, authentic food.

When I'm not cooking, I'm selling Real Estate in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, so if you're looking for a bigger kitchen or a house with a vegetable garden, please contact me or click on the link above.

Please try any of the recipes I post & let me know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by!
